Andres and Gigi had known each other since childhood, but it was not until after a couple of years that by chance their lives crossed again and from that moment Andres knew that Gigi was the love of his life.  Andres is a medical surgeon, did his studies and specialization outside the country. Gigi is a publicist and was Andre's  sister schoolmate.

Gigi went to present an advertising campaign for the Clinic where Andres works.  She remembers having entered the meeting room that was full of doctors, all Members of the Board, waiting to hear her presentation. Andres was there.   They never imagined that would be the day their lives would crossed again.  During the presentation, they exchanged looks.  Andres remembers that he did not pay too much attention that day to what she said, "I spent the whole meeting thinking if she was my sister´s little friend" he recalls.    After she finished the presentation, and by an unanimous vote the the campaign was approved.   Andres could not wait and he approached without hesitation, introduced himself, and congratulate her for the presentation.  Her, with a big smile and her beautiful blue eyes wide open, asked back, "don´t you remember me?". From that moment he knew for sure  she was Gigi, his sister's friend whom he had known since they were young.  They were talking for a few minutes and Andres was called to an emergency.  That same day he invited her out for dinner, and that first date was enough for them to fall in love.

They had three incredible years  going out together.

 "Although from the day we went out on our first date,

I knew that Gigi would be the woman I would marry,

I must admit that planning the proposal took more

time than I imagined. Gigi has worked in marketing

all her life,  she is the most creative person I know,  so

I always pictured that this day had to be something

very special and original that really surprised her" he

recalls.   We shared our love for nature and enjoyed 

paragliding together on this beach that is like

paradise, so deciding where I will pop up the question 

was the easiest part, "El Ancantilado" would be the

place where I was going to propose to her. I knew Gigi

wanted the day we formalize our relationship to be a

day of celebration surrounded by our closest friends

and family,  it was clear to me that I did not want the

traditional romantic date.

His closest  friends and Gigi´s sisters helped him  

prepare the surprise. He took her down to the beach

and invited her to take a paraglide ride, Gigi did not suspect anything because that was something they  did regularly when they go to the beach. The stage was perfect, the sun was almost set. Andres directed  the paragliding near the beach where there was a sign in the sand with the phrase "Gigi will you marry me".    Gigi yelled "yes, yes", then she turned around smile at him, and he was waiting with the ring, she took the ring out the box and yelled again "yes, yes".   They landed on the beach, and Andres surprise Gigi with a white beach party where their closest friends and family celebrate the couple, one day really to remember.
