Ceremony

The church where the wedding ceremony will take place is “La Basilica Menor de la Merced”, also known as “La Merced” Church.  Is a Catholic temple with rank of basilica that is in the city of Guayaquil-Ecuador.   Is considered one of the most traditional churches in Guayaquil.  The basilica in homage of the La Merced Virgin, contains a Gothic-style aesthetic, as do the medieval cathedrals.  The interior has its Major Altar of Baroque Style carved and covered in “Pan de Oro” (gold).  The ceremonies in this church are considered synonymous of tradition and elegance for the inhabitants of the city.
