Gigi & Andres wedding will be an elegant, traditional and romantic wedding. The bride´s desire of a fairytale wedding with signature elements was what inspired me to develop this project that will be creating an enchanted wedding for this special couple.
The wedding will take place in Guayaquil-Ecuador, the couple's hometown, on May 19th, 2018. The ceremony will take place in the beautiful Basilica Menor de la Merced, also known as “La Merced” Church and will be followed by a cocktail party and reception at the elegant “Isabella” ballroom at the prestigious Hilton Colon Hotel.
The color palette chosen for this event in purple-hued shades combined with silver tones to add a touch of elegance. The décor chosen reflects the bride´s love for the flowers, especially roses and for bright colors especially purple. Since, the Basilica has a beautiful Baroque Style carved and covered in “gold, we decided to go white with light pink floral scheme decoration for the ceremony, that will help to contrast the bridal party purple shades dresses. For the cocktail party and reception, the ballrooms of the hotel will be transform into an enchanted place, stunning floral décor, perfectly elegant tabletops, breathtaking centerpieces, personalized monogram dance floor, precise lightning and personalized details in a flower filled ambiance will transport the grooms and their guests to a true fairy tale.
The food will not be the exception in this special
celebration. During the cocktail hour, guests can
enjoy three (3) different food stations with a varied
menu and the special grooms signature cocktails:
Love Potion and Purple Viking. During the reception,
guests can enjoy a buffet menu especially designed
for the couple with a variety of options, open bar, a
gourmet coffee table, and a delicious sweet table
featuring a six-tier wedding cake.
The amusement will be in charge of a live band, DJ
and a special singer presentation. A photo and film
booth will be set up at the foyer to capture the best
casual pictures and personal greeting messages.
At the end of the celebration, the bride and groom
will greet their guests with personalized gift favors.
